Dibrugarh is a city in the Indian state of Assam, located 435 km east of the state capital Dispur. It serves as the headquarters of the Dibrugarh district in Upper Assam. The historic town of Dibrugarh was formally announced as the second city of Assam on 7 March 2024 with the formation of the Dibrugarh Municipal Corporation by dissolving the municipal board.
I really appreciate how quickly the Corporation responds to drainage and waste-management issues. It makes living in Dibrugarh much more comfortable.
